Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

Do they feel better than other shoes?

These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.

Would you recommend them?

Yes! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also look great.
